You can save money on your energy bills if you install Energy Efficient Windows. If your home is single glazed or your double-glazing was installed prior to April 2002 then you could be losing heat.
Energy efficient windows help to contain and conserve heat within your home keeping out wind and rain and yet allowing natural ‘free’ energy to heat your home. They can be made using any frame material or even a combination of frame materials you choose. For example uPVC, Aluminium, Timber or Steel.
You can also reduce your carbon footprint if you install Energy Efficient Windows. If you live in a single glazed house and install Energy Efficient Windows, you could reduce the energy you use by 0.30 tonnes or 18%. There are two ways now in use for measuring the Energy Efficiency of windows, so they comply with Approved Document Part L (2010) of Building Regulations for England and Wales.
U Value
The minimum performance level required for windows is a ‘u value’ standard of 1.6W/m2K. This is easily achieved when you use units comprising of SOFT COAT LOW EMMISSIVITY GLASS WITH ARGON GAS FILLED CAVITY.

Our A Rated range of windows manufactured by our suppliers use Rehau profiles with the outstanding Energy saving double glazed units comprising SAINT GOBAIN PLANITHERM TOTAL 1.1 GLASS : ARGON GAS FILLED CAVITY : SWISS SPACER : DIAMANT (LOW IRON) GLASS. All our A rated windows are permanently labelled to prove their authenticity.
These labels tell you how energy efficient your new windows are. All windows are rated from ‘A’ to ‘E’ with ‘A’ being the most energy efficient. This labelling allows you to simply and quickly compare the energy efficiency of different windows. Click on any label for a clearer view.
